Even the wrapping paper looks sad, the soggy Jubilee was a bit of a wash out and I'm a year older.
I actually had a wonderful birthday in Cornwall and was looked after by some lovely friends. Lucy made me a fantastic cake, the sun shone in Cornwall and Polly showed us around Padstein. Susie celebrated our 30 year anniversary by giving me a necklace of enormous pearls, Ollie 'surround sound' Waxer made us all terrific fajitas and I was very spoilt. I met the only man, Dom (an Ocean scientist) who has seen killer whales off the Cornish coast, and Ashley, a famous and pretty and clever surfer. Oh and I met a very handsome snake called Sebastian.
